A practised and tasty story
The Cooperative Wine Grower's Association of Faenza was born in 1932 on the
initiative of some of the leading representatives of the agriculture of Faenza,
who considered associations as the best tool to improve their own vine-growing
production.
The Wine Grower's Association of Faenza appears to be the first cooperative
society that rose in the province of Ravenna. The company consolidated
immediately on the territory, becoming a social and economical reference point
for the whole agriculture of the area, providing a sure income for the associates,
who continuously grew up in number.
The constant modernization of technologies and the passion of the people
allowed to build a well-deserved high-quality reputation as the years went by.
After sixty years of profitable activity in the old premises, placed in the full
city centre, in 1992 the Wine Grower's Cooperative moved production and offices
into the new plant placed in via Soldata. The continuous technological modernization
and the constant agronomic, varietal and managing improvement of the associates'
vines, more and more concentrated in hilly areas, allowed to produce always more
high-quality wines, obtaining a growing consent by the customers.
